Timber Wolves fall to Hamilton Tigers in season opener
In the first period the Timber Wolves came out and battled hard but found themselves down 2-0. After a scoreless second period, the Timber Wolves came out with some extra jump to start the third period. The Timber Wolves first goal of the season was scored by Roane M. with assists going to Logan G. and Dylan B. cutting the Hamilton lead to 2-1. It was a hard fought game, but Hamilton exploded and with under 6 minutes to play scored 3 quick goals, putting the Wolves in a huge hole down 5-1. True to their character the Wolves continued to battle and Jackson D. scored their second goal with just 3 seconds left in the game. Assists went to Mitchell W. and Roane M. Next the Wovles travel to Kitchener to face their cross town rivals.
