WOLVES LOSE FIRST TWO GAMES ON ROAD...TWO HARD FOUGHT BATTLES
GAME #1
In game 1 of the Alliance final the Wolves fell 3-1 to the Elgin Chiefs. In the first period Travis Konecny scored walking off the hlaf wall to go up 1-0. The game went back and forth for the rest of the first and second period. Going into the third the score was still 1-0.
With about 6:30 left in the game Tayler Trachsel kept puck in at the point and turned and fired it home to make it 1-1.

Soon after Elgin scored 2 goals in 30 seconds and the Wolves jsut couldn't respond although had many scoring chances. Was a very close battle and Bailey Degasperis was strong in net to give Wolves a chance.

GAME #2
Game two was also on the road in Komoka. In the first period teams exchanged chances and Elgin opened the scoring midway thru the first period on a nice rush by Carson Brookshaw. Once again the teams battled back and forth with Waterloo out chancing Elgin but just couldn't score. Entering the third the score was still 1-0 Elgin. 3 minutes into the 3rd Elgin scored a goal off the faceoff as puck went straight up in air and everyone lost site of puck and went over the head of Waterloo goalei into the net. 2-0
Waterloo pushed hard back and scored a nice goal to make it 2-1. Anthony Vanderheyden drove the net hard and Gary Mantz found him on the back post. Wlves pulled their goalie and had many chances but once again could not get a bounce.

WOVLES RETURN HOME THIS WEEKEND FOR GAME 3 and 4 (COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE BOYS!!!)
