Essex Tournament Summary
Great weekend team! Going into the weekend, our main objective was to come together as a team and begin to build team chemistry. We achieved that and much more! We are no longer just a group of players and coaches who all came from different teams - now we are the Minor Bantam Wolves Black! We are one team now! I was so impressed with how well the team gelled together this weekend, on and off the ice. On the ice, we played exceptionally well, especially considering we have had a total of 2 practices so far. The off ice activities were a ton of fun and I hope all the parents and siblings had fun also.
I really appreciated all the support the parent group gave the coaches at the team meeting. I guess Tom's experiments were a success!
I want to give a huge thanks to our manager, Sarah, for all her hard work organizing the weekend to make sure we all had fun. I also want to thank coach Tom and coach Mike for all their on and off ice efforts to make sure we met the main objectives of the weekend!
I really think we have pulled together an awesome team of kids and parents, and I am really looking forward to getting the regular season underway!
