Moving Forward
The Waterloo Ice Wolves ended the regular season with a BIG win in the Hammer, defeating the Hamilton Tigers 3-1. The Ice Wolves out skated Hamilton throughout the game, but found themselves down 1-0 early in the 2nd period until Owen Fenton deked his way around the Hamilton defense to even the game. Cole Schirrmacher and Daniel Bosomworth earned the assists. Colton Tucker gave Waterloo the lead for good with 8 seconds left in the period. Connor Olsen assisted. Fenton added another goal midway through the 3rd period with the help from the passing combination of  David Parker and Nathan Mrakava. Waterloo now starts the Tier 1 Play-offs away, against the Burlington Bulldogs this coming Saturday.
