Schlueter Hyundai vs. Kitchener Rangers
This past Saturday the Kitchener Rangers (0-2-1) and Schlueter Hyundai (3-0-0) played a spirited contest in which Schlueter came away with a 2-1 victory.

The Rangers would come out the gate flying and were able to take a one nothing lead near the end of the first period.  They would continue their strong play through most of the second until J. DeMers, Davis, and Noble were able to score to tie the game at 1 goal a piece.

Schlueter would continue with the momentum early in the third when Horvath, Wigmore-Lopez and Anderson scored to give the team a one goal lead.  This would prove to be all the offense the team would need in a low scoring affair making the final 2-1.

The line of Dietrich, Flanders, and Brookes where held off of the score sheet but still played a solid hockey game.

The defense also played a great game as Garland, Elhedhli, Steffler, Domaratzki, and Jones were able to hold the Rangers to only one goal.

C. DeMers played great in net as usual.  Solid goal-tending combined with excellent team defense has helped Schlueter keep its goals against to five through three games, tied for the league best in the playoffs.

Enjoy your March break, see you next weekend.
