Schlueter Hyundai vs. Lowe's
On Saturday Schlueter Hyundai (2-0-0) skated away with a victory in a tight game against Lowe's (0-1-1).

Faced with a bit of a short line up the team was forced to go with three sets of wingers and only two centers, however they were still able to get the job done.

Horvath, Anderson and Wigmore-Lopez started things of early with a goal less then one minute into the game.  The resilient Lowe's squad would have an answer right of the face-off though, scoring eight seconds later.

The furious action continued as just over a minute later Duquette, Davis, and J. DeMers where able to restore Schlueter's one goal lead.  However, once again Lowe's showed some determination as they would tie the game before the end of the first period.

Things would slow down considerably in the second period.  Horvath, Wigmore-Lopez, and Anderson would score the only goal of the frame to give Schlueter a 3-2 lead heading into the third period.

Schlueter would add two more insurance goals in the third, one into an empty net to win a close game 5-2.

The wingers Noble and Dietrich both played a great game at both ends of the ice.  Their ability to forecheck kept Lowe's hemmed into their own zone for extended periods of time.  The defense Jones, Steffler, Domaratzki, Haney, and Elhedhli also played well.  The team is starting to break out of their zone much more efficiently and it all starts with a good first pass from the defensemen.

C. DeMers played well in goal especially during the end to end action in the first period.

The teams next action comes next Saturday against the Kitchener Rangers.
