Minor Atom Select Wolves and Jr. Rangers play another close match
The visiting Kitchener Jr. Rangers beat the Waterloo Minor Atom Select
Wolves 2-1 on January 23, their second match-up of the 2010-11 season.
Kitchener’s Alex Petrenko opened the scoring in the first period, shooting the puck through a crowd and into the Wolves net. After a scoreless second period, Waterloo’s Scott Voisin tied the game at 4:36 of the third. But the tie was short lived. With just 3:28 to go in the game, Kitchener’s Nic Miller score to lead the Jr. Rangers to a 2-1 victory. On December 1, the Wolves and Jr. Rangers battled hard in the 2-0 Waterloo win, so the season series is now tied 1-1.
