Congratulations to our Waterloo Ice Wolves champions of the Ace Bailey Memorial Tournament in Stoney Creek.
After tight wins in the round robin over Stoney Creek and Kanata, the Wolves played a superb quarter final in beating Windsor 4-2. In the semis, we met up with a much larger Barrie team and after figuring out it was better to go around them instead of through them, our offence took over resulting in a 7-3 win to move onto the finals.
In the finals, the defence, goaltending and offence put it all together with a 7 - 1 win over a Brampton team that had outscored its opposition 19 -2 before running into the Ice Wolves.
