About Waterloo Minor Hockey Association

The Waterloo Minor Hockey Association (Waterloo Wolves) was established in 1949 and is a proud charter member of the Minor Hockey ALLIANCE of Ontario. Over the course of the past 70 years, Waterloo Minor Hockey has assisted in the development of thousands of young men who understand the value of teamwork and community.

Waterloo Minor Hockey currently provides a complete hockey program with over 2,000 members that participate in House League from Initiation to Juvenile and Representative Teams that compete in Select, Minor Development, A, AA & AAA categories. Our focus is on development -  we support the dreams of the children in our programs and do our best to provide the tools and opportunities to all of our members. Waterloo Minor Hockey has always been committed to creating hockey programs for youth that are fun, where participants can develop and learn the technique and skills of the game, life skills, and good sportsmanship in a safe environment.

Interested in becoming a Sponsor for WMHA?

Thank you to our generous sponsors! Without team sponsors, the cost of playing minor hockey would be much higher and might not be affordable for everyone.

We proudly display our sponsor logos on our team jerseys, this website and on team banners that hang all year in arenas all over Waterloo and its neighbouring communities.

Waterloo Minor Hockey offers an excellent opportunity for both small local businesses and larger corporate partners to gain access to our more than 2,000 players and their families.  We are looking for an opportunity to create long term partnerships that give you creative alternatives to market your business in the community, we aren’t simply looking for a donation.

If you are interested in a sponsorship package that not only supports athletes in your community but will help build your brand and bring customers to your door,  please complete our SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION.
