Hello Wolves families,
First of all, we'd like to thank everyone for attending the evaluations this past weekend. A special thank you to the coaches who ran the sessions so well. It was amazing to see hockey come back to life, and to see all the smiles on the kids' faces.
Before we get into the teams, we have a few important safety reminders to be aware of throughout the season:
1. Parents are
not permitted to be on the ice unless they have registered with me as coaches of the Initiation Program. Coaches are required to have a valid police check on file with Waterloo Minor Hockey. If you have volunteered and you are not listed as a coach below, please reach out to me as soon as possible at
[email protected].
2. Parents are also not permitted to be on the bench unless they are assisting their child with equipment issues, or water bottles. Once all players are on the ice, the doors to the rink should remain closed. We understand this is a difficult transition, and the coaches will work with the players to adjust.
