AtoMc Wolves make Waterloo proud!
This was an exciting tournament weekend for three of our teams - congratulations to all of our players for such an impressive showing!

AtoMc Gold went to Scarborough, to play in the Don Montgomery Memorial Tournament. Friday night, Gold worked hard to keep George Bell to a 2-point lead, with a 4-2 loss. Saturday, Gold took an impressive 10-point lead over Don Mills, and tied up Scarborough at 1 that night. Overall, AtoMc Gold finished in 3rd.
Great job, Gold!

AtoMc Blue and Red both went to London, to play in the Neil Barker / Jayden Elmore Tournament.

Blue, in Pool A, started bright and early Friday morning, first taking a 4-2 win over West London, and moved on to defeat the London Bandits 4-0 in the afternoon. Saturday morning brought a 5-0 win over Sarnia White, and a by to the semis on Sunday morning. A 1-0 win over West London secured a spot in the finals.
It was a hard-fought battle that ended in a tough 2-1 loss to the Barrie Black Knights,  and Blue brought home the silver -  way to go, AtoMc Blue!

Red also started early on Friday, kicking off the tournament with a 2-all tie with North London. The afternoon game was a 3-1 loss to Applewood. Saturday morning, Red rallied to bring in the win they needed to stay in the tournament, 2-1 over Sarnia Grey. In the quarter finals, Red rallied again to defeat Kitchener Black 3-0. Sunday morning brought the semis and a 2-0 win over Kitchener Orange. Red came from behind in the tournament, taking the Gold on Sunday afternoon with a 3-2 win over Applewood... not only in OT, but in shootout!

This weekend saw the AtoMc Wolves out-perform most of south-western Ontario - way to go, teams! You should all be very proud of yourselves!
