The hockey the boys are playing in our league now is thrilling
(PS I am a leafs fan and it is painful to put that picture up but - I have to be realistic!)
Hello Everybody
We are about to start playoffs.
The coaches have been briefed on the rules and what is expected of the teams.
I just want to make sure everybody keeps it all in perspective.
This is simply the end of a great season.

We are very fortunate in our league. The parents and coaches are awesome. This translates to the boys on the ice behaving very well and we see it all the time.
There is a little chirping on the ice but I see more congratulating each other and even other teams then negative cat calls.
Also remember the refs are young kids just starting and trying their best.
From the bench we see the result of the inexperience first hand.
Who cares if they miss a call and the game is lost. As I said, there is no Stanley Cup, this is not a contract year for anybody, and there is not even a Championship ring.
The boys will be upset, it is up to the adults to show some emotional intelligence and move on with grace.
Finally, I would like to thank the coaches for all their hard work. It is great to see all the teams with a chance to win every game. I will speak for the Domino’s Pizza Sharks that we are peaking at the right time. Even though we did not do well through the regular season, we are now a team to be reckoned with.

This weekend is the last weekend of the March break.
Please let your coach know if you will travelling that weekend and unable to attend.
