Jayden Elmore House League Tournament (Jan 11-13th)
The Kitchener Rangers and the Piller's teams both participated in the Jayden Elmore House League Tournament in London.  Both teams had enjoyable weekends with mixed results.

The Kitchener Rangers experience at the London tournament was one of firsts.  Many players were away at a tournament for the first time in their hockey career.  With a 1-1-1 round robin result, the Rangers did not advance, but it opened Saturday night to a great pizza party, NHL 13 on a play station, and a deep sea fishing tournament on a Wii.  It was a fun filled weekend for all.

The Piller's team started out with a win against London on Friday, followed by a loss to Whitby in a tough Saturday morning game.  Nonetheless, an additional win against a different London team that afternoon allowed them to advance to a semi-final game on Sunday morning.  Although they did not make it to the final, it was a total team effort to keep it a 2-1 game until the last 1:37. When London got a 3rd goal, they did not give up, but responded by stepping up and scoring to make it a 1 goal game and giving at least a chance to tie it up.  Despite the loss, it was a well-played, exciting game.
