Tough Friday Night Loss
The Wolves took to the road to battle our cross-town rivals, the Kitchener Jr. Rangers. The boys were greeted with a very fast pace right from the get-go. Before the wolves put their game faces on, the score was already 2-0 Kitchener in the first minute of play. Waterloo got its footing and kept Kitchener from scoring any more in the first period. Thirty seconds into the second period however, the Rangers struck again with a quick goal. The wolves regained their composure and Sam M. (assisted by Sacha W. and Nash M.) and Sacha W. both put one into the net in the second period....
Although the wolves managed to get one more in the third period, scored again by Sam M., they were not able to make up for the early deficit, dropping 6-3 to a solid Kitchener squad. We've got lots of room for improvement, and so the wolves will be hungry the next time they meet up with the Rangers!
