Back On Track
After a tough loss to Kitchener Jr Rangers Blue on Saturday evening Waterloo White came back with a little bit of aggression to earn a win over Brantford 99ers.

With a 4-2 loss to Kitchener, sorry correction, 4-1 loss, Waterloo White was frustrated with the outcome. Hoping to earn 2 points in Saturday's game did not happen for the Wolves, which would mean they would really need to turn on the heat to move up the playoff ladder. In true White fashion, they came out a little slow in the first period, but then dialed it up during the second and third periods both in penalties and shots on net. It just seemed like we couldn't catch a break. The Kitchener goalie was quick to cover any shots and rebounds, while the refs were equally quick to catch our offsides and aggressive to the puck plays. It just wasn't in the cards for Waterloo on Saturday night and the Kitchener Jr Rangers Blue earned the win with a final score of 4-1.
Sunday night's game against Brantford would be a different story. With some pre-warm up conversation about competitive spirit the boys took to the ice with a little pep in their step. The boys would need to play hard and dig even deeper, as they were short a player on defence, and had one defensive player and one forward playing with injuries. This would be a true team effort to earn this win. Putting the first goal of the game in certainly helped pump up the Wolves and at the end of the first period Waterloo was in the lead. However, as the second period went on Waterloo would find themselves in the penalty box again and again. The Wolves did an amazing job killing the penalty and in fact, scored some short handed goals thanks to #66 Anderson. The Wolves definitely put in a team effort to earn the win with a final score of 5-2. Well done Waterloo! We are back on track, ready to take on Hamilton next week.
