The Waterloo Garden of “Hayden” needed watering.
Hamilton
Red did some yard maintenance on Waterloo’s nursery handing Waterloo a 4 – 3 shrubbing
for their first loss of the season.
It was not all hedge trimming and lawn mowing as Hamilton raked up a loose leaf sitting in front of Waterloo’s yard waste bag late in the first season. Waterloo sent in the weed wacking team of Matthew Thomas, Hayden Taylor and Ethan Andres to pull out a deeply rooted weed and even things up.
The weed wackers were back at it as they found another weed to pull in front of the collection bin to start the second season. Hamilton found another leaf all alone to knot things up once again. Waterloo’s defensive sanitizer department did an excellent job at not allowing any further lawn maintenance to be done.
The wind blew in Hamilton’s direction with a pair of leafs to put Waterloo in a big hole and no shovel to dig themselves out with. Ethan, Hayden and Matthew filled part of the hole with some topsoil but could not fill the hole fast enough before time expired.
In all, it was an excellent effort team. Remember to work hard as a team to get rid of those pesky weeds.
Good luck next weekend against Kitchener. Let’s get back on track.
