Wolves Novice Black Win two points in White
Saturday matinee game was a total white out!

With the Wolves Black sporting their new White Jerseys, was exactly the inspiration they needed.

The Wolves opened the scoring in the first period with total domination.  Niesz and B-Dups opened the scoring for the Wolves with some beauty passing to lead up to the goals.  The cohesive group were making their first pass count and breakouts were much improved with the D-Men controlling the play, down low.

The Second period was a very defensive period.  Minimal shots on either goal, but the young Wolves were getting into the heads of Burlington Cougars players.  Often saw flinching and random scary toots in the face off circles...
A special guest was in the stands scouting the boys. His name was Denis Lemieux.  I asked Denis what he thought of the period and he said this:  "Good game so far, de boyz play like bulls and take the puck and OWWNNES it."  I asked Denis on his thoughts on the penalty for the wrong Wolves player and he stated "Ya, dat was big no no, Pax Attack told ref he de man to be in box, but ref don't know.  B-Dups go in box and feel shame, then he get free".

Third period was fast and physical.  The young Wolves were showing they're chemistry starting to come together.  G-Mac, Double Deuce and Pax Attack each potting singles in the final frame with great plays that were setup by the other D and Forwards.  Never stopped Believing.

The big win was perfect timing for the boys as they quickly changed into civilian gear to run through the woods, getting chased by people on horses.  These young pack of wolves, teamed up in the ManTracker event and might have even fought the odd Bear on the way.  Boys now get ready to hit the ice to fine tune their skills and ready themselves for a busy week of games, first facing the K-Town Rangers on a Tuesday night Tilt.
