Novice MD Red bounced back with a big win in Burlington
The Wolves showed perseverance and bounce back after a tight loss Saturday night in Cambridge to have a big win in Burlington in a late afternoon game Sunday.

The Wolves came out flying on the first shift with Marty potting the first goal of the game with a great feed from Pax and Nater.  On the next shift the boys were relentless in their pursuit and Kropfy took a swift pass from Strachs to put the Wolves up 2-0.  The Bulldogs made a quick break in and jammed away to pot a single, making it close.  Strachs was not having it, and then took an early pass from Marty, mid ice and skated in to sink another howitzer into the twine, finishing the period 3-1 against a shell-shocked Bulldogs team.

The rabid Wolves continued to put their aggression on offense into the second period.  Cruiksy and Monty each potted deuces in the period with Marty and Kropfy adding to their goal counts at two a piece.  They couldn’t have done it without some great passing from the entire team, puck support and defensive plays to keep the lead.

The third period the boys maintained their score with Kinger adding a single.  Both Reider and Rowe played a solid game between the pipes, with great defense on the back end to bring in the W.

The Wolves have a couple practices, to prepare for the Cujo Tournament in Newmarket in the coming weekend.
