MD - Minor Peewee Black vs Brantford 99ers White
In their final game of the regular season Waterloo earned a berth in Teir 1 with a decisive 3 - 0 victory against Brantford 99ers White.

The boys came out flying and controlled the play from start to finish. Waterloo had several golden opportunities to take the lead in the first period as Brantford narrowly hung in there.

One minute into the second period, Nathan Edwards fired a long pass up the ice to Michael Wei. One quick move and Michael went in all alone. A fake here, a deke there and the puck was in the back of Brantford's net. Lucas Doyle added an insurance marker with a nifty backhand "top cheese" as he accepted a pass from Hunter McMurdo and Luke Young. (Lucas, you still owe me .50 cents from your last goal - pay up)

The boys controlled the puck throughout the period and never let Brantford get setup for any shots on net. Luke Young netted his second goal in consecutive games as he blasted a rocket from the blue line on the powerplay. The defense was stellar throughout the game shutting down any scoring rush. Austin Zappitelli picked up his league leading 6th shutout, only allowing one goal in his last four starts.

Great game boys. You passed the puck very well. It was like watching a Picasso painting come to life with each stroke of the brush. Totally awesome to watch.

Time to work even harder as the quest for a playoff spot continues. Go Get Em Boys!
