Wolves Raise Funds for Child in Uganda
Hockey is fun and brings us together but it also can be a vehicle for positive change. The Novice MD Black team is helping to make a difference for Kenneth.

The 18th Man Project is spearheaded by the registered charity One4Another International, an organization that seeks to create a lasting impact in the life of someone in need. The project partners a team with a Ugandan child in need of surgery. This year, the Wolves have been matched with Kenneth, a six-year old boy who was born with clubbed feet. Since surgery to fix this condition is out of reach for Kenneth and his family, the team will be raising funds for the surgery. On Saturday, players and their families came together for their first event - raking leaves in the Beechwood neighbourhood.

By rolling up their sleeves and getting to work for a couple of hours, the players are helping improve Kenneth's life forever. The coaching staff is extremely proud of the team and wish to thank One4Another International for this meaningful opportunity to make a difference. Preparation for Kenneth's surgery has started, the team wishes him the best in the surgery and for a speedy recovery.
