Wolves Continue to Dominate
The Waterloo Wolves came out ready to play Saturday afternoon with a big first period scoring four times en route to beating the Sarnia Jr Sting 6 to 1.

The win kept the Wolves on top of the league standings with an impressive 6 wins and no loses this season. Even more impressive is how each line has contributed to the scoring.

Griffin Beddis opened the scoring from Jaxon Broda and Declan Uniac. Tim Hodson scored from Beddis. Uniac then scored a pair of goals with his first from Matthew Ball and Cole Hunsberger and his second from Broda. Ethan Wasylyshyn scored from Jackson Andrews. Hunsberger scored from Uniac and Riley Webster.

Nate Sexton continued his stellar play in net making key saves when his team called upon him. Sexton was also creative in playing the puck and made a couple nice saucer passes out of the Wolves zone.

Michael Wei and Hunter McMurdo showed their commitment to back checking and D-Zone making sure the Sting remained at bay and unable to set up in the Wolves end of the ice.

A welcome return to play came with both Cole Ledgister and Webster returning from suspension. The addition took some of the work load off the shoulders of Cooper Gaul, Jackson Deitz, Jackson McNichol and Broda who have all stepped up logging big minutes during the suspension.

Next up the Wolves travel to Stratford to face the Warriors Sunday evening.

Go Wolves!
