The Minor Atom AA/A Wolves defeated the Cumberland Grads on Sunday afternoon to win the Preston International Tournament! The Wolves played the Humber Valley Sharks on Friday morning, and a thrilling match against the Cumberland Grads in the afternoon. The Wolves then played the Meadowvale Hawks on Saturday afternoon. Two wins and tie earned the Wolves a spot in the semi-finals vs. The Barrie Jr. Colts. The Wolves battled extremely hard against the highly ranked Colts, matching their speed and intensity. A late 3rd period goal made the difference to advance our Wolves to the finals for a rematch against the Cumberland Grads. The Wolves did not disappoint with a 1 - 0 win!
Our tournament season has come to a close. In four tournaments, we have made the semis, the finals and come away with two championships!
The Wolves are also on a 14 game point streak! We are United!
