Novice Select take on the Acton Chargers!
Congratulations to the Novice Select Wolves for competing hard and knocking off a formidable opponent, the Acton Chargers.
The boys responded well after a few recent successful practices. Tough Defense and sustained Offensive pressure led to a well earned 2-1 victory.
Joerge opened the scoring early in the first, while Ciaran shut the door between the pipes. The score remained 1-0 - with solid play in between - till the 3rd period when Khristian scored a fantastic goal to put the Wolves up 2-0.
Acton didn't go down without a fight and made the score 2-1 with a few minutes left in the game. Ryan held off any late Acton chances while all the boys worked as a team to close out the game.
Great effort by all. Everyone should be very proud of their play - see everyone soon.
