Champions over Kitchener Blue
Two points were earned this afternoon by Waterloo to win the series against Kitchener Blue. #19 Bosomworth, earned the only goal of the game for a 1-0 victory. Both teams played an amazing game of hockey. The persistant drive to the net and tenacity to defend was evident from all players on the ice. A great match up between two well coached teams.
It would be impossible to capture all the highlights of the game in this article. However, I believe it is safe to say, that everyone was on the edge of their seats during the last minute of play, as Kitchener pulled their goalie and Waterloo showed great willpower to stay strong to the very end. Congratulations to the Waterloo Wolves Minor PeeWee MD Black team for a great series against Kitchener.
A huge thank you to the Kitchener players, coaches and parents for the excellent display of respect and skill during the games. It was a pleasure to play against such a great team.
