Novice Red Punches Ticket to League Finals and Alliance Championships
Novice Red outlasted Hamilton White in a run and gun affair at Parkdale Arena 6-4 to sweep the series.

The Wolves came out fast with Mike B. putting the Wolves up in the middle of the first with a blast from the point. Ryder H. added a gritty short handed goal after he and Wyatt M. trapped the Huskies in their own end near the end of the first

The Wolves came out slow to start the second period with Hamilton getting on the board 34s into the period and then added a power play with 3:21 to tie the game 2-2.  Speedy Ryder H. would restore the lead immediately to give the Wolves a 3-2 lead heading into the third.

Hamilton once again came out on fire to start the third period, and tied the game 3-3 at 13:22.  Wyatt M. immediately restored the Wolves lead at 13:02 and Emre A. would then stretch the lead to 5-3 a few minutes later. The Wolves would then take a string of penalties, some of which seemed questionable given the tempo of the game.  The Huskies would take advantage to narrow the lead to 5-4 with 1:28 left to play.  Grayson S. would squelch the comeback attempt with drive to the net right of the face off to seal the win.

Liam M. took the hard hat for hard defence and Mike B. took the lunch pail for getting the Wolves going in the first.  Grayson S. took the "sweet hands" for the roofing the last goal to secure the game.

The Wolves await the winner of the Brantford-Cambridge Red series and the Wolves have earned a spot in the Alliance Championships in April.
