Loss to Blue...Again
It seems that the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Blue is the nemesis for our Waterloo Wolves Black team. The Waterloo Wolves seemed poised and ready for the challenge. After a good warm-up, the boys went back to the changeroom for their pre-game talk. The team was ready to go, and with talk of an early start, they headed for the ice with one goal in mind...a win!

During the first period the Jr. Rangers sprang to the lead. An impressive pass back and then quick shot made the score 1-0. Then a rocket of a shot hit the top right of our net to make it 2-0. Our boys would need to keep their composure and not get discouraged. However, after the third goal, which was argued by our coaching staff, Waterloo seemed flustered. The Wolves did battle back in the third, and I thought we were going to have the come back of the season, but the deficit was just too much to overcome. Well done Labrie and Hancock for getting us on the board with two goals. Thanks to the quick passes by Anderson, Malcolm, Williams and D. Eamer, these points were possible.
Honourable mention goes to coach Williams. This was a tough game and a tough loss. Thank you coach for expressing your concerns with the ref and supporting the boys. Your time, effort and commitment to the team is not only appreciated by the players, but the parents and your support staff. Thank you!!
