WOLVES EXPERIENCE AN OHL WEEKEND
The Waterloo Minor Midget AAA Wolves travelled to Niagara and Hamilton for an OHL Player Experience weekend.

On Saturday they packed up vans at RIM Park and travelled down to St. Catharines where they arrived at Niagara Ice Dogs rink and greeted by Asst GM Joey Burke. The players got to practice on Niagara's ice and was followed by a facility tour of dressing room, video area, gym etc. The team sat in on a game day Pre-Scout video session ran by head coach Marty Williamson. After team meal the team attended the Ice Dogs game vs Oshawa Generals.
On Sunday they had team breakfast at hotel and then packed up vans and headed to Hamilton to spend the day with the Hamilton Bulldogs. Upon arriving and being greeted by Troy Smith (Asst GM/Asst Coach) the players were given OHL practice jerseys, and treated as OHL players and experienced a practice run by Troy. After practice the team was given a full tour of their facility and an informational talk from team president Steve Staios. Team had a fantastic team lunch at Wendel Clark's and then attended the Bulldogs game vs Peterborough Petes.
All in all was a busy weekend but very informative for players on OHL and was is expected of a player.
