Much needed Victory
Waterloo’s Minor Peewee
Wolves ended this past weekend on a high note. Coming off two losses last weekend to western
rival teams, the Wolves were looking for a bounce back weekend.
They travelled to London on Saturday and held a lead in the game through two periods, but lost their legs in third period, and lost 5-2. On Sunday they played Hamilton, a team that they had not beaten in three years. The Wolves jumped to an early lead and won the game 2-1. The team played three solid periods of hockey, and kept Hamilton’s high-powered offence tightly in check. Waterloo rides the momentum of this victory as they travel to Chicago for the Bauer World Hockey Invitational. Work hard this week during practice and be ready to peak in the Windy City.
