NCAA WEEKEND AT UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN - GREAT EXPERIENCE
The Minor Midget AAA team travelled to Ann Arbor Michigan home of the University of Michigan Wolverines to partake in the College Experience.
The 3 day event included being chaperoned by 2 former NCAA/Pro players for the weekend, Campus Tour by current students, tour of Wolverines Hockey facilities and Q and A with their staff, attending 2 UofM games and playing 2 exhibition games vs Detroit Compuware U15's.
This experience is one the players will remember for the rest of their lives and has opened their eyes to NCAA hockey.
This was a great team building event as well which included bus ride, team meals and hotel living for 3 days
In game 1 Waterloo lost 7-2 to Compuware but in Game 2 Waterloo held a late 3-2 then Compuware scored late on PP to tie it. Final was 3-3
