WOLVES OPEN SEASON WITH TWO WINS
On Saturday the Waterloo Minor Midget AAA Wolves opened their 2014-15 regualr season at home vs. the Brantford 99ers. The Wolves set the pace of the game by scoring on the 1st shift of the game and never looked back from there. Waterloo defeated Brantford 8-2. Leading the way was the line of Zach Cameron, Nate Schnarr and Trent Lamarche. The line combined for 6 Goals and 12 points. The Wolves went 4 for 5 on the PP.
On Sunday the team traveled to Sarnia to play the Lambton Jr Sting. The wolves played a solid and disciplined road game winning 5-0 and only taking 2 minor penalties. Justin Hergott posted the shutout and Both Schnarr and Sullivan Sparkes had 2 goals and an assist. Next game is Sunday in Stratford vs. Huron Perth Lakers
